A
personal invitation to come and join Amano’s BEV SPRAGUE
for 8 days in South West France’s Perigord Noir, discovering
the unique blend of cultural & culinary riches that have
made this unsurpassed region such a magical place.
Savour the unrivalled quality of Perigordine life in an area
famous for its Duck, Fois Gras, Truffles, Walnuts, Cabecou
cheese & the wines of Bergerac & Bordeaux.
Explore & experience a Feast for the Senses, as we drive
through history along the Camino de Santiago, in countryside
bordered by limestone cliffs & medieval castles, to small
market towns, brocante shops & artisanal producers, enjoying
memorable meals at some of the region’s finest restaurants
& bistros.
Our
base is a privately owned & beautifully restored 18th
century Perigordine stone country house set amid 30 acres
of farmland & woods, close to the Vezere River and the
little town of Les Eyzies, home to the world renowned French
National Museum of Prehistory.
Guests enjoy luxuriously appointed & individually furnished
split level apartments, each with its own private entrance
onto a rustic courtyard which forms the heart of the property.
A large state of the art teaching kitchen in the beautiful
